Based on recommendations from Senatobia Public Works, the middle school and high school campuses will be under a boil water notice until further notice.
The elementary school and OLC campuses are not included in the boil water notice and may operate as usual.
Proper precautions are being taken on the affected campuses. We will provide an update as soon as the notice is lifted.

We are pleased to share that water service has been restored to all SMSD school buildings, and our facilities are able to operate as normal. School will be in session tomorrow, Thursday, August 13, 2026.
We will remain in communication with City of Senatobia officials and will share any additional updates if needed.

Due to the ongoing water main repair in the area of Porter Street and Highway 51 North and the resulting loss of water and necessary building functionality, all SMSD schools will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, August 12, 2026.
We will continue to monitor the situation closely and communicate updates as soon as they are received by the school district.
